Personal data we collect
We value your privacy. Although most of the information on this site is available without having to provide personal data, it is possible that the user may be asked for personal information.
We only collect and process information that you provide to us via:
- Filling out a form on our site
- Emailing or calling us
- Or contacting us in another way
- This gives us your email address and name, and for some forms we need more information.
How we use personal data
In short: we only use your data to send you what you have requested and to send you insights on how your customer journey can be improved.
Through our online forms, you can:
- sign up for our mailing list
- order services or products
- register for one of our events or request information about them
- sign up to stay informed about new job vacancies
These are the purposes for which we use your data. We may also contact you for a customer satisfaction survey or to provide information about additional or related products and services.
We may contact you by email, post, or telephone. Would you prefer not to be contacted? Then read the section "Your rights."
There are also things we explicitly do not do: we never pass on your data to other organizations. We only use the information internally. In very exceptional situations, a law or court ruling may require us to pass on information. This is the case for every company.
For certain activities, we use third-party tools, such as Google Analytics, Combell, and Campaignmonitor. These are not "third-party recipients" but processors.
We do not store the data for longer than is necessary for the purposes we have just described.
Data protection
The law requires us to implement the necessary security measures. This allows us to prevent the loss, unlawful use, or alteration of personal data.
Of course, you can also simply email or call us if you have any questions about this privacy policy.
Your rights
Under privacy legislation, you are a 'data subject'. And every data subject has the following rights.
Access: would you like to know what information we store about you? Feel free to contact us and we will give you access.
Rectification: do we have incorrect information about you? An error in your address? In your name? Something else? You have the right to correct your data (you can do this in any mailing by clicking on 'change your preferences') or have it corrected.
Objection: Would you like to remain in our database, but do not want us to contact you? Please let us know. We will adjust your contact preferences.
Right to restrict processing to mere "storage": this seems similar to the previous point. What is the difference? In point 3, we will no longer contact you, but we may still process your data (e.g., for analysis). If you invoke this fourth right, we may only store your data (and not use it).
Right to be forgotten: do youwant to be completely deleted from our database? And not just limit the processing and contact options (rights 3 and 4)? Then you must exercise this right. We will then delete you from our database. Please note: this is not always the best option: if you are a customer of ours, you will probably find it useful that we know your data. This right to be forgotten option can sometimes lead to strange situations: you may re-enter the database later, but because we had to delete you completely, we will no longer be able to remember that you asked us to delete you earlier. It is better to exercise right 3: Objection.
Right to object to 'profiling' or automated processing of personal data. For clarity: we do not use profiling. If we did, you would have the right to ask us not to do so in your case or to give you the opportunity to discuss the effect of that profiling with a real employee.
Data transfer: you may ask us to transfer the data you have provided to us to you (so that you can share it with someone else). This concerns the data that you provided to us yourself (for example, by filling in a contact form).
Would you like to exercise any of the above rights? Please let us know.
You have the right to file a complaint about our privacy policy
We strive to comply 100% with the law in our privacy policy. Do you still have a complaint? Please let us know via info@geronimo.be.
You can also report this to the privacy commission.
